"Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch menu is really good value for money and really delicious. For $22, I had the Scotch steak, which came with a salad, miso soup and rice. The service was good, and the food came out quickly"

"Had the salmon steak with grilled prawns and miso soup. The salmon was nicely cooked with crispy skin and stayed moist inside, and the prawns were fresh and well grilled. Everything was served hot, which was a nice touch. The miso soup was light and balanced. Overall, a solid and enjoyable meal — would recommend if you’re looking for a reliable place for seafood."

"We ordered Taste of all for 2. And added fried rice. Started refreshment with Salmon sashimi, Yum Yum Prawns, continues all tepan grill taste ( vegi, fish, Salmon, squid. Chicken, sirloin & eye steak, at last desert ! Rice, miso soup, green salad included, too. I am so happy to order this menu as I explored all taste and find out what taste like. Would help future visits. Yum yum prawns were so good, I will recommend choose prawns and squid each. We chose both squid but should each as my opinion. As Japanese point of view, I feel home and nostalgia Showa era. I love this place."

"To experience the Japanese style of cooking food this way was absolutely rewarding. 4 of us had dinner served by the most friendly chef who was happy to explain and chat as he prepared our meal. The waitress was kind, friendly and very welcoming. The small restaurant was cosy and the decor was very well done to provide a Japanese setting. Thank you for being a wonderful host. We have lived here for years and yet this is the first time here. However, we will return for more of your hospitality."

"We returned last night to our favourite teppanyaki restaurant, and once again, it did not disappoint. Takeshi-san’s exceptional culinary skills remain consistent, with every meat and vegetable cooked to perfection. As always, we chose to sit at the counter, where we could fully appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Compliments from other diners were endless throughout the evening. We enjoyed the “Taste of All” menu, which I highly recommend. It offers a delightful sampling of Heizo’s signature dishes and concludes with an outstanding yuzu sorbet ice cream, the perfect finish to what was easily the most satisfying meal of the month."

"It was just an AMAZING experience. We loved every minute of our dinner - we took the whole menu to try each item and it was just an explosion of flavours. The cook is a real artist and the staff was so nice to us and took care of everything - we felt as if we were guests at their home. We will remember this evening and the dinner for many years. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of food is mind blowing. Thank you and good job!"

"I've been to many Hibachi restaurants in the US and even several in Japan and this is by far the best! Everything they served was cooked prefect and tasted amazing!! Most of our group got the Taste of All and we were absolutely surprised how well every single item was cooked and prepared from the soup to the steak and even the sorbet dessert. Highly recommended and wish we could eat this at home. They are a small establishment and we were able to reserve in advance but I recommend reserving if you have a group since there is limited space"
